The first time this all happened began on May 13th with the massive changes eBay made at that time. Now it’s happening again? I agree with @nuclearomen that it seems to be related to changes but what has changed since August 28th? Still no sales since August 28th. Not normal for me!!
To recap; My sales after May 13th were down 30 to 40%. My sales for June were down 40 to 60%. My sales on July 1st were down 68%. I began making a recovery later in July. August was my first semi normal month since May.
It seems there are a lot of long-time sellers experiencing the same scenario.
We need help! Please fix this!
@ci1000 the million dollar question is always "what changed" - we unfortunately don't get those memo's to know so we have to "investigate" and try and figure things out. There are differences to the previous few months of all this, most notable is views, as most had experienced, views would be none to minimal from their normal activity on listings... that was mostly that great new counter they implemented... where wasn't counting views at all for some (like me) others had a different glitch where it wasn't counting and showing on seller hub listings but was being counted when you click on the views count, and others (some portion of members) had glitch where wasn't counting views, amount sold etc... They finally did something few weeks back about it, idk if they fixed all of the issues, but my listings finally started to show views and watchers. That's a major issue. Sellers need this info to manage their listings, if not really getting views/watchers then may need adjustments to price etc... but can't do that when the counter isn't correct.
Sales for August were way better then when all this started, sales were mostly every day, and various sales per day every few days... more towards the norm for me. I did a lot to get things back on track. Then 29th nothing and still... but again, I am getting views and watchers, even on items just listed so it's not they aren't being seen. I noticed a trend at end of each month for past few months that when end of the month hits and it's near time for ebay to charge for store subscription my sales will cease til the bill hits my managed payments and either they take it or i pay it... guess have to watch and see if that's the case here.
