Last 7 packages I sent are all lost between Texas & northeast.

All scanned here and nothing since.

So oldest is now 14 days since last scan....

So if ya like losing $$$ keep selling and shipping via eBay n USPS.

Me I quit. Closing store. Bank account.

I am a buyer, all of my items are late. Post office seems to have a lack of help-trying to be patient. 

Maybe try FedEx. I am not ordering anything more until the holidays are over. Plus, my Pyrex has arrived broken from two orders. Very sad for all.

If your buyers file an INR, you'll still have to refund.

This has happened to me many, many times as a seller, since the pandemic began. It has taken weeks to a month to arrive & the tracking goes from “arrived at post office” to “delivered” after a month of being missing! I’ve had buyers try to get refunds and luckily the items arrived shortly after. Maybe try FedEx or a different shipping company.

FedEx is horrible also.   I live in condominium project and FedEx packages left on the curb.   Over and over again they leave packages on the curb (100s of them for the entire neighborhood).   Fortunately I have honest neighbors!   I should point out...these must be "contract delivery people" who deliver FedEx packages (unmarked van and no uniform drivers).   Seems like their only concern is to drop off as many packages in the shortest amount of time (must get paid like food delivery drivers).

I'm trying not to look at my tracking numbers now.  I did last week and just don't have the stomach for it this week---it's dismal to say the least.  I've already had to issue a refund and am girding myself for more.

Let me guess?? The shipments are sent via Media Mail or anything less than equivalent to First Class Package or Priority Package. 

I ship from rural Texas. They all hit a Dallas area distribution center later each evening and move on from there. No problems with lost packages this whole year with about 1500+ shipments across venues. Using primarily First Class and Priority along with some UPS Ground. 

What shipping methods are you using?

I'm not the OP but mine are 1st class and Priority.  I've shipped for years, but this is the first time I've ever seen anything like what is happening now.

Yes, you got me to thinking that I need to check my paid and shipped here and I can't get into Paid and Shipped right now.  EBay seems to be having a glitch.

I have had 3 late ones over on the River recently that were all Priority that showed up on my metrics. They were only a day or two late. 

I am going to check the Ebays whenever the glitch is over.

Within the last six weeks or so,  I  have shipped a few embroidery patterns by Media Mail, reminding my buyers that Media Mail may take a bit longer to be delivered than another class of mail, but it will save them some money.   Those Media Mail packages have been delivered as expected.

We've lost several hundred dollars over this very issue, the USPS even lost a local check made out to the tax department which resulted in a late payment penalty of around $30... 
Quite a few packages I've issued refunds just to watch tracking show "delivered" days later...

Never saw that money.

More so ebay can "force" that refund and the seller's bank will issue overdraft fees in addition to the refund amount, failure to make that right will result in collection efforts and more, it will likely make banking difficult in the future and the seller will lose their privileges to sell on ebay for life...

I know that sounds harsh and some sellers don't care but if you are young please don't waste this opportunity while you're in your 20's because you never know where we will all be when you're 40 or 50...

Granted, ebay may not be around then but the future is uncertain.

I posted this on another post today:

I went to the post office this morning and asked the clerk about the delay.

She said they don't have the workforce and semi's were lined up on the highway trying to get the mail to the planes. She said employees are calling  in sick saying they have the virus.  Apparently there was something on the news about it, but I have not seen it.

She said UPS & FedEx are having the same issue!

Came here to see if anyone else was having this issue. Looks like we're gonna need a bigger boat!

Media mail pkg is 14 days late and still in transit. So I sent the next one first class and now that one's "arriving late" too. Yeesh. Who wants to pay Priority for a $5 book?
