Stating Condition of item incurs a fee

I was charged $3 simply for saying new with tags on my item.   

I was not aware of this charge.  Everywhere it says list for free.

So I called the customer service and they told me that it was a sub-title.

I thought i was simply indicating the condition of the item.

Ditto.

The Title field is labeled Title.

The Subtitle field is labeled Subtitle and has the price right next to it.

Later on the Condition field is labeled Condition.

And at the end the fees are shown before it is listed.

IMHO not every rookie mistake by a seller needs to be attributed to a conspiracy theory.
