Starting selling limits

Hi guys,

need your help. I have just started on ebay, setup my selling account yesterday. I am trying to put my first listing but the system shows that i currently, you can sell up to 0 items per month, and your total monthly sales can be up to $0.00.

have you faced such an issue before? is it common for starting sellers? what should i do?

this is extremely frustrating

thanks

Not every post made on this messageboard contains accurate information.

Re: Starting selling limits

Ebay  as a whole right now, from what ive read and  understand, is EXTREMELY GLITCHY. They rolled out some changes recently and the transition hasnt gone well. Several people have reported various glitches throughout the site. I myself and having issues where none of my recent listing are showing any views. ZERO. Nada. Even though people are "watching" the item, the page has zero views. Several other people are reporting the same problem. I heard that ebay is giving a date of the 3rd as a target fix by date. We'll see. Everyone is frustrated right now. I would be willing to bet that your problems are more related to ebay glitches as a whole, rather  than anything on a personal level with your account. Hope everything works out. 🙂

It may not make sense, but think about it.  You prove that you are reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.  And buyers are often wary from buying from someone with NO feedback.

At the very least, you will gain some small knowledge of how the site works, at least from a buyer standpoint.  And in the meantime, you can research all the selling policies and what will be expected of you.

Re: Starting selling limits

Most times when this happens, it is because you have not set up your account to sell properly.

Check it again and see what may be needed.

Re: Starting selling limits

IIRC, beginning limits for selling is 10 listings or $500.00, whichever comes first.
