Due to the size of a multiple order from Auctions I need to send two separate packages and wanted to know if I can split the invoicing as well. The invoice form has check boxes, if I uncheck one and send an invoice for the remaining two will the Sold file adjust and let me send an invoice for the 3rd item? Below is a shot of the invoice I am referencing.

I am guessing here but I would think that after you send the invoice for two of the items with the 3rd unchecked, next time the invoice is brought up it would show the same, with all 3 items and then you would just check the 3rd item and send it,
I am not giving eBay's invoicing system credit as being a "smart app".
Maybe there is someone on the board has done this before...….

Thanks, I suppose I could try unchecking one and see what happens. I "think" there is a reason for the check boxes but I too am leery of how it may or may not work. For one reason and due to the sizes involved I want to avoid a potential Dimensional Weight issue.

Good guess, I unchecked one item and sent that invoice ... then hit send invoice on one of the other ones and all three were checked again so I unchecked the ones that were not covered the first time through, bingo, went through just fine ...

Heckava guess, for sure. I had never done it. I only send an invoice on accepted best offers and I have free shipping, so nothing complicated

@calntom There's a first time for everything ... this order I needed to split, the one item was 18 lbs and a good size so adding the other two would have pushed the size up quite a bit. As such, it worked out ...
Funny you were the only one to reply ... seems like participation here has fallen off since last week's GTC mandate announcement ... perhaps folks are thinking no more free support with the latest twist of the turnip ...

It's easier to just mail the first box, click Print another shipping label and print one for the second box and leave the buyer alone.

No its not, its good to keep the Buyer in the loop so they don't open a box and say, "where's my other stuff!?!" This Buyer was well aware of what I was doing, had no issue with it and I was able to reduce their shipping cost ... they thanked me in a message ...
