I've sought legal counsel as to why I have been denied a listing to sell a " bone growth stimulator" while Ebay allows other sellers to list the identical item I've tried to list for sale.

I believe I've been discriminated against because of my race by denying my listing.

I spoke with an Ebay representative and he said it was a prohibited item because HE said it required a prescription. I pointed out to him that Ebay allowed several others to sell the same item, down to the exact manufacturer. I attempted to list my item about a month ago and spoke to this Ebay representative about others listing the same item, and that exact same item is still listed on Ebay right now, but I'm not allowed to list mine!

I'm pretty sure the gentleman I spoke to wasn't a doctor and has no clue what he's talking about.

I can go online and buy one right now...especially on Ebay

The cover photo I've included is from a current listing of the identical item I tried to list!

I would not say that any of the replies are mad - but you came across as clueless and several responders were basically trying to get you to think for yourself. For example - I think we would all have loved to hear your explanation of how you were discriminated against based on your race. Most all of your statements have been seen many times before here - even those claiming discrimination.

The ones who claim that they are going to meet with their attorney and file a class-action lawsuit against Ebay are also the ones who are never heard from again after getting laughed at here and strongly encouraged to actually go and meet with a real attorney.

If this ended up in the news (like the Dr. Seuss books) Ebay would go in and remove the listings. If not in the news, it seems Ebay expects people to click the report button, go through all of the options, and do Ebay's job.
