I've sought legal counsel as to why I have been denied a listing to sell a " bone growth stimulator" while Ebay allows other sellers to list the identical item I've tried to list for sale.
I believe I've been discriminated against because of my race by denying my listing.
I spoke with an Ebay representative and he said it was a prohibited item because HE said it required a prescription. I pointed out to him that Ebay allowed several others to sell the same item, down to the exact manufacturer. I attempted to list my item about a month ago and spoke to this Ebay representative about others listing the same item, and that exact same item is still listed on Ebay right now, but I'm not allowed to list mine!
I'm pretty sure the gentleman I spoke to wasn't a doctor and has no clue what he's talking about.
I can go online and buy one right now...especially on Ebay
The cover photo I've included is from a current listing of the identical item I tried to list!

If your legal counsel reads the ebay user agreement, he will charge you a lot of money and then tell you not to list it.
As for race discrimination, how does ebay even know your race?

Common sense: it's a prescription item, you need professional medical approval to use it because there might be reasons NOT to use it. Why would you want to put someone in that situation?
Those other ones shouldn't be listed either. So you're using discrimination as an excuse to get around doing something you shouldn't?

This is a prescription item. I have one that I had to get a script for and pre approval from my insurance company to obtain. Would you jump off a cliff just because someone else is doing it and didn't die?
As for the race card.....please....eBay does not care what color, race, sexual orientation etc you are.....your money is green

Did your legal council laugh at you ?

Using what others are doing as a guide on eBay is not worthwhile since you have been told you cannot list that item. The fact that others have fallen thru the cracks has no bearing on you. If you want to sell here, you must follow the rules. It is not a defense to say "Officer, but everyone else was speeding!" If it makes you feel better, then by all means report the listing violations. There is a Report This Item button on every listing. There are millions of items up on eBay at any given time. Invariably some violations will get overlooked--for a while.
Not everything is about race.

All of y'all bit!
I have no lawyer.
I do have a bone growth stimulator I was going to list and you DO NOT have to have a prescription to buy one.
Others on Ebay ARE allowed to list theirs for some reason.
The company that supplied mine charged my insurance company $5200 and these people that have them for sale on Ebay can't re-sell them for $50!
One thing I noticed is all you guys and gals jumped on me like a pack of hyenas!
What are y'all so mad about?
Oh...and by the way...I'm white!
😂😂😂😂😂😂

Not mad at anything. Just responding to your accusations that you are being discriminated against and was just curious what your legal council said about suing Ebay. If the legal council for some reason decides to take your case make sure you give him a copy of the user agreement you signed.
