Spam messages asking for freebies

I started getting these messages about 2 months ago. They are all pretty much the same sentence structure but with different accounts... introducing themselves, mentioning who they are in twitter, facebook, etc. They say they make reviews, but there are hardly any when I look them up.

They are all in Morocco. And they all ask me for free stuff. Has anyone else noticed a sudden appearance of these spam messages too?

Re: Spam messages asking for freebies

@emerald40 I wish I can delete them without opening. But they just show up as generic messages with subject line "message from member". So I'd have to click into them first in order to know what the member wants.

I am assuming that any virus then would be filtered out by ebay. So no harm to your computer to simply open it up. Then just read the first few words, and bam put that member on your blocked list.

On my personal email I am afraid that if I set my filters too high it might block out emails I want to see. So I just delete any email address I am not familiar with.
