This has been a very serious issue for me for the past year. I have been in weekly contact with a supervisor who has been working with the tech team, and after months of research on their end, they have no idea why this is happening and the supervisor is no longer willing to address the issue. That in itself is beyond frustrating.
I am asking you here for help. I will give you examples of my issues. Please let me know any insight you may be able to give.
Search for topps now julio 887. My item # is 354278187631. Best match, my listing is up top. Sorted by lowest price, it is non existent. There are only 15 search results, so there the button to 'see more results' does not pop up. I have this EXACT same issue with multiple sports cards.
Search topps now judge 802. Same thing.
Search topps now ohtani 817. Same thing.
Buyers are looking to get the BEST PRICE on low priced items like this. They cant buy them if they cant see them.

Your listing shows up for me no matter how I sort it, even shows that you ended that listing.

yep this true with me too but the chances for other people have the view bug as him is likely high thus kills any sales he could have gotten. 1/4 a reason of slower sales since may.

Tiger, I relisted my first example and I am still getting the same incorrect search results when sorted by lowest price. New item # is 374254685936. Are you able to see any of my examples when sorting by lowest price?

I see all your examples when sorted by lowest price.

Also, you aren't even cheapest on that card, so you aren't going to be picked by anyone going lowest price first.

ebay is not making enough money on you. I am not saying this to make you feel bad. Because you have more stuff for sale than I do. ebay is broken, its in pieces and the current ceo only thinks about how much money he is going to get out of our pockets. Good luck on your selling journey.

You've already started another topic on this. Read my other reply as you will see there is nothing wrong. You are mistaken. You item shows up in best match and it also shows up lowest first. Also you need to learn how to search. Do not just say judge 802.

Search: 2022 topps now shohei ohtani 817
My listing shows under best match, but is NOT placed correctly when sorted by lowest price.

That pretty sums up ebay today. Well Said

Agreed, but doesn't help me resolve the issue.

I have been buying and selling on eBay since 1998 and until recently, I have noticed that searching by any means other than "Best Match" now results in fewer search results sometimes significantly. I don't know this for sure but I suspect that "Best Match" results always show "sponsored" sellers first which means that they've paid eBay priority fees to have their listings show up first. Exactly what Amazon does and trying to sort any other way on eBay results in some non-"sponsored" sellers having their listings filtered out. I am so disappointed to see eBay go the same direction of Amazon. Sorting by lowest price on Amazon results in useless results; they either show you things that are completely unrelated to what you are searching for or you keep getting their "sponsored" sellers listings. Both these companies steer you to buy what they want you to buy 😞
