Something Freaky just happened after reading post on webinterpret!

Ok, kind of very weird...was just sitting here reading the thread about the Webinator...or whatever it is called...and I don't even know what that is, but the postings were talking about third party tokens (I'd never even heard of these tokens before!), so I thought maybe I should check my site preferences to see if I had any...and BAM!  There was a token from a "Lithium" something or other....which was initiated, it said, TODAY , within the last hour!!!  Like, **bleep**???? Did just READING the posts on this, here on this forum, somehow initiate a token??????????????????????????? I won't come around and read posts anymore if there is threat to have my account hacked!

Oh.               (quiet moment)              Um, is that because I wrote a post...and they had to access my account in order for the post to...er....POST???   (slowly backing out of room.........)

BUT WAIT!!!  I hadn't even written the post yet!  I was just reading posts...then slipped over to my account preferences, and there was the Lithium token, initiated just prior apparently!  Unless....         just arriving onto the community board while logged into my account activates Lithium to make a token????  How come I don't see tons of activation dates and tokens for all the days I have come by here recently???

Because if you have two tokens you would get errors if you tried to use the page.

Yes, a blast from the past!  I think it was a see through green type gel with bubbles in it, but I could be wrong.

I just checked and it comes in light green or pink.  Bubbles galore!

Ok....so, how come the token was made JUST minutes prior? Why wasn't there one already in there from other visits? Does Ebay purge the tokens everyday??? I don't mean to be so....basic...but I am! 🙂

Third party authorizations, under Site Preferences. 

You'll get one from Lithium every time you come to the Boards logged in.  It allows Lithium to log you into the Community Platform (which is run by Lithium) using your eBay login info.  All the Third Party authorizations seem to update frequently.  I delete them frequently, they all come back.  Most of them appear to be from eBay actually, I believe it's related to them using third parties to run various parts of the site.
