Solution - Verify phone number "Something went wrong..."

Sharing as this worked for me (UK seller)...

 

From the 'Verify' page:

 

Click "Edit phone number"

 

Leave Country set as "+44 United Kingdom"

 

Edit phone number - add "44" at the start, and delete the first "0" (so mobile number will start 447... and landlines will start 441...)

 

Then try 'Verify'  again. Just worked for me

That's great news! It might be of more use to your fellow UK members, however. Probably doesn't work for us here on the U.S. boards.

 

Try posting on your "home" board (ebay.co.uk)

Awesome, thank you Simon. It seems to work the same way in Aus as well, so may work here. There is thread currently about this situation, so I will post your info on that, again thanks 😊
