ok ebay lied to me. ok i had a bidless item that i could not fullfill so i tried to cancel it... the system refused even after i got a rep on chat.
so i refunded the money and the rep says "i promise no fees" 2 days later they charge me the fee. they refused to reverse it. they gave me a $1 coupon towards a purchase...
be aware of these people. after 16 yrs here it means nothing!!!!

I see two items you sold - a game on 18 Oct and another game on 20 Nov. Both sold with one bid each.

i could not complete the order. i tried to end the listing. it kept telling me i can't. the bid was made 8 hours after i got off of chat. correct no bids means i can end it. ebay refused to let me do so.

you cannot end an auction listing within the last 12 hours. Was there less than 12 hrs left on the auction?

Sounds like you were trying to end the listing within the final 12 hours? You could have cancelled the bid you received, unless it was a snipe/at the wire bid? You should have received your fees back when you cancelled the transaction after it ended? What was the $1 credit for? You should have just been out .30 cents and a defect for OOS on the sale? (sorry - late afternoon here and I might need some caffeine to connect the dots on this one)

Why do people come here blaming someone else for their mess up?

You know how this works, you can't cancel auctions with less than 12 hours.

I don't get it. You've been on ebay for 15+ years and suddenly it's their fault for your mistake.

What? That makes no sense. You don't need support to end an auction if there are more than 12 hours left. You can simply end it.
