THANK YOU for being willing to comment and, therefore, try to make ebay a better "community". My event, and its resultant negative feedback are, of course, all of my own making. Even after 23 years of ebay, I still have lots (and lots) to learn. You folks are the best source of knowledge.
I am aware of disappointment, failed dreams, heartbreak, lost opportunity, etc, etc. BUT, I (anyway) am aware that there are sometimes events over which we have little if any control. A rainstorm the day of the barbeque, highway construction or blockage causing a missed appointment, my size shirt being out of stock (after a phone call and a 20-mile trip) are events of MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT but need to be sort of shrugged off so that life can move on. A nastygram to the highway department or the store manager do not resolve anything. My buyer left me negative feedback because he received no "warning or notice" of no product. His refund was processed within a few hours.
Thanks again to all of the community for reaching out a helping and educationg hand!!!
