Ran into a issue this morning and wondering if it's a user's error or eBay Glitch. I sent a offer to someone yesterday and they contacted me to say they accepted the offer, but the discount didn't show on their end when they went to pay. They messaged me to fix it. When I looked for the order, there were no orders in the waiting for payment spot. So, no order to fix. Of course when I let them know there was no order to fix as I had nothing showing pending and explained how to accept the offer and the price would go to the discount automatically. He said he did and then went off on me basically accusing me of trickery to get full price and that I could keep my product he didn't want it. So basically, there may be a glitch out there and we wouldn't even know about it. I wouldn't have known had the person not messaged me. Or was it user error on their end? I'm not sure. And no way would I ask the customer at this point. If a glitch is out there it's a bad one that leads to loss sales and Bad Buyers experience. A hard one to detect too.

Probably user error. I suspect the offer had expired, or they simply didn't know what to do to find it again.

If it's an offer you sent to your eligible watchers, I'd look at the list of sent offers and review the current offers and see if this person's feedback number appears. That might help to confirm they received an offer and just didn't accept it properly.

Answers to above 3 :
1 - Yes sent thru offers list provided by eBay.
2 - It wasn't expired and had 1 day 1 hour left
3 Yes the feedback number showed a offer was sent and had 1 day 1 hour left.
This is what lead me to believe they hadn't accepted it yet. Of course when I explained how to accept that's what made them go off.
I've never like how offers are sent blind and the only identification we get is feedback #. And you don't get that until after you send. I know it shouldn't matter but I hate being blind when I do things.
