I might be late to the conversation but have noticed a recent decline in sales. Keep in mind I am a casual seller with a small storefront. I sell 4 to 6 items every month. Suddenly, crickets. No offers, no responses to offers, etc. Did I miss something?

'I did stop promoting'...Me too.
However, I am still listings new items every week.
My sales are slow when I list new items which are not promoted.
So far, I sale today and it's a repeat buyer.
Talk about the dead zone.

You'll never be late to the conversation when it comes to talking about slow sales - that train always runs on time.

Good news, there’s official processes by which you can change your name! So if you want, you can be Rich, or even go big and be Richard!

The fact you have 99 listings and only sell 4-6 items per month means, very simply...that you're attempting to sell things that very few people want or need. Nobody is going to by a decorative plate when money is tight and their car is broken....instead, they will come to my listings and by car parts.
Obviously, with so few sales...this is not a primary business for you...which makes it easier during the slow periods. There will always be slower periods, for some reason or for no reason. I've spent 25 years in my industry trying to understand it and I can't. It just happens. Wait till next month, is my only advise. Put up more listings maybe.
For comparison, I have 500 listings and probably average 20 sales per day. There are things that I have listed that have never ever sold. There are also things that I've sold 150/year of. If I pick my hottest selling part, some days I'll sell 10. Some weeks I'll sell 20 or 30, then I won't sell that again for 6 months. Makes no sense, but it's how it works.

Some people are concerned over possible. loss of employment & are focused on having cash available to satisfy future needs
