It's the ECONOMY again.
People are scared to spend money they don't have!
And with the looming war with North Korea things are only going to get worse.
I've been storing water for months now, because when the grid goes down you won't be able to pump water out of the ground.

Great read for those that project "doom".
Haveing sold for 41+ years and whether economic swings one will learn there are no straight line NE curve sales projects or results. Rather sales activity follows the tracks of that Duncan Yo-Yo I used to play with during recess at the elementary school - lots of ups & down and sometimes just sleeping or just walking the dog..

Come on man, the Feds have had low interest rates, in many cases close to ZERO to prop up Wall Street after the 2008-2009 bail out crisis when banks and GM went bust.
So where is all the money ??

Well don't forget QE1, QE2, QE3, and QE4? I believe we made it to 4. Federal Reserve (a Private Bank mind you. It's about as Federal as Federal Express Shipping..lol) pumped money into the market to get it kick started.
Here is the thing. After 2007-2008, a lot of people (not all) got smart. I read a comment on an article many years ago during the recession, it was the most top rated comment. It summed up one of perhaps several reasons why the bubble existed "The problem with the world today is people are spending money they don't have, on **bleep**(use the other word) they don't need, to impress people they don't know". Boom. So like many, even I became a different consumer, I became frugal. I have a 10yr old TV, no car payments, no student loans, no cable (garbage anyways), fix most things myself, and bought a home as a place to live and not a silly investment vehicle (if it goes up in value..great. If it doesn't, oh well, it's just a place to put my head down, not a fast track to riches). I traded my credit card for a library card. I taught myself economics, stocks, business, and any small skill or trade I had the time and energy to put into. Look at the surge of YouTube DIY videos. People are doing stuff themselves as much as possible to keep expenditures down.

The 1858 Remington is in it's holster hanging on the coat rack.
Cash is stashed under the shed out back.
Plenty of supplies, enough to last a few months for sure.
I'm PREPAIRED (I was a boy scout long long ago)

You can't say it's one political party or the other as it covers a decent time frame, it's a lucrative business.
Household income has been stagnant or many years. The cost of goods have only gone up. Close to 0% percent interest rates for such periods. The banking system to the consumer is primarily a "One Trick Pony",......interest rates. So what do we do now? Offer negative interest rates to banks (that means you get paid to borrow money) which will lead to even lower rates to borrowers? Follow the money. Pay attention, because most people are not. When interest rates go back up, credit card fees go up, loans cost more, etc. I'm not trying to be gloomy, but reinforcing the fact that everything is cyclical even the market. Unfortunately, we have short term memory.

It's an American chart, that is what my point is, and it's relevancy to the World is not worth aguing because of the intense daily paranoia as dictated by all policitians in the USA via the media.
You have all been made the very centre of the Industrial Military Complex of USA business.
Military and Arms companies have succeeded in making you partners for the good of their bottom line, and you've bought it like Pet Rocks.

Again my friend. I'm not disagreeing with you. Just the messenger. The media has mastered the art of spinning **bleep** and they have become good at it. The line between a major media outlets and national enquirer flyer has become very gray. Good journalism died years ago, along with good journalist. I don't work for Boeing, Northrop, or (insert big name). The OP mentioned slow sales and I just posted relevant economic observations.

Wells Fargo give me less then 1% on my saving account yet they charge 20% for their credit card.
Wait until the US goes digital money, it's not going to be pretty.
They'll know everything you buy and where you bought it. . .

Wells Fargo is the most corrupt bank in the world, they had us open free checking accounts then one day out of the blue about 7 years ago they said we are going to charge 12 dollars a month in fees to keep the accounts open, I closed both of them down and changed banks.

I have C-span 1, 2 and three. On 24/7
The news calls N. Korea nukes a joke, low yield.
What they don't say is that Russia built a super EMP bomb.
It is low energy by bomb standards, But super high EMP output.
Just one air burst over the US would wipe the grid out.
And also everything electronic. computers, cars, etc.
This is not from a nut job, it is from the govt.
And the N.K. nukes have the signature of an EMP bomb.
To the poster who said the bible held no wisdom, so wrong.
" Rotate your crops, and in the 7th year let the land lay fallow "
" do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
" Don't skinny dip with your wife's sister "
The bible ( king james ) is two different books.
The old testment god liked messing with the Jews.
He would set them a task, they would fail, he would punish them.
He seemed to have anger issues.
Then in the new testment Jesus shows up.
And he is one mellow laid back Dude. Nothing like his dad.
He was all about helping the poor.
And he said to not throw rocks at the working girls.
What I find odd, back then god showed up on a daily basis.
I guess he has taken a nap.

god is no different than the easter bunny, or santa claus.
People need to feel like they matter, and will grasp at the smallest straw available.
I know for a fact that the matter I become, will be just that ......... matter.

I still have my 1968 Boy Scout hand book.
Once a Scout... forever a Scout.
When it all goes bad, I will be the go to fix it guy.
And if it goes real ugly, we can fly out of here.

Yes Skate scripture does teach that...and from many different faiths.

You in fact did point out current economic observations. I question their relevancy. I hope that clears some of that up.

For a fact, huh? I'd love to see your evidence. As someone who says they have lived in 7 countries, you seem unhappy here in America, a country founded upon Christian principles. May be time for you to move back to one of those other 6 countries. Don't let the door hit ya....
