Slow Sales Post #291,729

Lol I haven't sold a thing in three days (that's a new one on me) and am feeling completely shadowbanned at the moment. 🤣
How's everyone doing?

PS: No need to comment on my individual items and tell me I'm being dumb about this or that listing. Everything sells eventually. 😃

Re: Slow Sales Post #291,729

2022 was great for me, made 50k, end of 2022 when they did changes in the area, it affected everything and everyone. Stay tune they will make another change.

2023 it has the up and down. Mostly down and very bad low baller when my prices were at the low end by beating all ther seller by the $1.00

The area changed affected 2023 for a month and then fix itself. like i mention earlier, it still have a up and down swing on sales.

Go through your whole listing and double check your high value items to see why it is tanking. Check prices and drop the prices.

If you're dollar seller or penny seller who come through these community sites bragging about your sales just for feedback bragging rights, Move along. You know who guys are. What the point of even selling, When you sell 50 items and only make less than $50 dollars. Why do extra work?? for little cash.

Get a real-life hobby rather than jumping post to post and contradicting about everything with your little friend. Seek help.

Re: Slow Sales Post #291,729

The Fed has already raised interest rates 11 times since last year. The fastest pace tightening since the early 1980s. However, the consensus among economists and central bankers rates will stay higher for longer.

For consumers, that means there will be no relief from sky-high borrowing costs.

More from Personal Finance:

These credit cards have had 'increasingly notable' high rates.

'Cash stuffing' may forgo 'the easiest money' you can make.

Student loan borrowers' reenter 'messy system'

The federal funds rate, which is set by the U.S. central bank, is the interest rate at which banks borrow and lend to one another overnight. Although that's not the rate consumers pay, the Fed's moves still affect the borrowing and savings rates they see every day.

The Federal Reserve as of today is expected to announce no rate hike at the end of its two-day meeting next week.

Consumers will still feel the effects of higher rates and persistent inflation.

Here's a breakdown of how the Fed's moves have affected your mortgage rate, credit card bill, auto loan and student debt.

I get days where nothing/hardly anything occurs, then maybe a good day, but once you get that good day, cassini shuts you down again for several days.  Can't get used to good days.

And the routine is normal.  I stay consistent.  So its not extra listings, or whatever.

I don't think it is a question of big corp. Have you seen the prices for diesel? It costs double what it used to just to get the items to the stores. Not to mention, because of the high energy prices, everything costs more to produce too.

Re: Slow Sales Post #291,729

I saw a video of a guy who compared shopping 3 years ago to shopping now. For $100 he got 3Xs as much in 2020 as he did in 2023. And that was just for basics.  Cost of living is rising but people's salaries aren't and they can't keep up with inflation. They say Americans are paying up to $8K more a year for the necessities than what they were paying then. This is unsustainable and is therefore not surprising that people are not spending like they used to.
