I don't do video, but if it's about BBB being a paid to play site, then yeah anyone can have an A rating if you pay enough.
My point is...BILLIONS of items are sold here (and Amazon, too) If things were so horrible, wouldn't there be a WHOLE LOT MORE than just a few hundred complaints?

Most people don't want to take the time to comment.

It's ebays feedback

Most people don't make POSITIVE comments. I guarantee you a majority of people will make complaints, though. (even when they're not justified)

You can just use your money to vote against ebay and go elsewhere to sell.
There are so many different ways to sell items. It is a big world out there.
I sold on ebay for 10 years under another id.
I was dissapointed with the direction ebay was headed and quit in 2008 when ebay told me I could not accept checks and ebay decided that feedback would be one sided. I moved on.
Yes, lots and lots of different places and ways to sell our wares! Some of us have (or have had in the past) 'real' brick & mortar stores, many here also sell some with space in antique malls and at flea markets, also using upscale consignment shops to pass on items that are worth the $$$ but that we don't want to have to ship! lol
Many of us sell on more than one (often several) other online venues, including the Big One, as well as on eBay. Occasional eBay sellers also have their own websites...
Some of us are full or nearly-full time, some pretty hit or miss with it all, and some busy as the dickens during certain periods of the year and then take a break from it all for the rest of the time.
Some of us have stores, more than a single store, several different selling account ID's as well as buying ID's and a posting ID, etc. Some make do just fine with eBay's *free fifty* and let it go at that.
Yup, as you said, "..There are so many different ways to sell items. It is a big world out there.." I totally agree!

Your post is a link to the BBB.
I should have scrolled down before I posted this. I was late for the party.

Based on total sales succesfully completed? Yes. If eBay were a seller, it's feedback would be 99.9% which is more than good enough.

So you link to a site whose main purpose is to field customer complaints and figure that the stats are skewed? How many people go to the BBB to say positive things? If you're going to try to make a point, try to actually make a point.
Guess you missed the point.
The point is feedback doesn't mean diddly squat the way it is done.
Ebay won't be allowed to sell on ebay with that many negs.
But they would just get a new ID like all the bad sellers do. LOL

Well it certainly doesn't mean squat when you use feedback from a site that is NOT remotely like eBay to try and somehow reflect ON eBay! lol
I would definitely agree with you that done this way, the feedback doesn't mean diddly squat!!!

That's not the point as their are hundreds of sellers on here with hundreds of bad feedback monthly - but because of the quantity they sell or the feedback that has been scrubbed - they still have a 98% aaverage and above. 158 negative feedback is nothing when compared to the millions upon millions of transactions that occurr here yearly - let alone over the last 22 years.
