Most people don't make POSITIVE comments. I guarantee you a majority of people will make complaints, though. (even when they're not justified)

Re: Should this entity be allowed to sell with such bad feedback?

I read somewhere (I forget where) that there are 130 million items sold each month on Ebay (the US site only).  That's over 1.5 BILLION items per year sold. If that's all the complaints they have I'd say it's pretty darn good. That's a 99.99999999% positive feedback score.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

You forgot the other 6068 complaints over the past couple of years.

Intersting. I never said who's feedback it was.

Re: Should this entity be allowed to sell with such bad feedback?

lol  Another good site for the angry, the disenchanted, and the ousted to go to extract their little bit of revenge with a good ol' negative leave-behind.  I mean, there isn't much else they can do to vent their anger and outrage, is there.  They vent here too, but likely it doesn't feel as satisfying.

Of course, if it was an actual feedback spot and all the eBay sellers knew feedback was expected in about the same way we leave it here, since so many of us 'play the game'.. then eBay's feedback would look very different.  I have sisters, daughters, friends and acquaintances who all sell on eBay, some nearly full-time and some just occasionally, and none of us have run into the problems that those embittered have.  We'd all leave positive feedback and good praise.  Most of the millions of eBay sellers like it pretty well.  I expect eBay would receive mostly positive feedback overall.

Mostly we understand those who have been dumped, or run into such trouble that they're in danger, would feel a lot of negative *doo* against eBay.  It's pretty much a normal reaction, the defensive position.  And at that point, many will simply refuse to accept the blame for their predicament, they'll rant and make excuses, and they'll refuse to come to terms with the HOW and WHY of where they ended up.  But once-in-awhile, there'll be someone who says, "OMG, I screwed up my account and my opportunity here because I just wasn't interested in paying attention to the administrative end of my business here.  It's boring, confining, and requires too much compliance from me, but it's now cost me everything.  I know it was all my fault, and I now really regret it."

I do not know how or why that assumption was made.

Are there paranoid ebay supporters out there? Ebay shills defending any slight they think is aimed toward ebay whether it really is or not?

Is it my imagination or are most of those 'embittered' also male?

The usual wild eyed accusation that anyone who has happily and successfully been selling here for years, even decades, seems to attract that foolish claim.

Sorry I cannot totally agree.

You can just use your money to vote against ebay and go elsewhere to sell.

There are so many different ways to sell items. It is a big world out there.

I sold on ebay for 10 years under another id.

I was dissapointed with the direction ebay was headed and quit in 2008 when ebay told me I could not accept checks and ebay decided that feedback would be one sided. I moved on.

Click on the links in your original post and it brings you to eBays BBB profiles. No ESP just common sense.

Re: Should this entity be allowed to sell with such bad feedback?

Since FB is meaningless to a seller's account, I would hope that some of that seller's unhappy customers have done something useful, like opening Disputes.
Those do make a difference.

I also suspect that may have been a hacked account.
Was there any FB from the previous 12 months before that flurry of activity?
