Should or shouldn't I mail

Today, 06/26, I sold two DVDs, each to a different stated buyer, both with zero feedback and accounts opened an even 90 minutes apart today. In addition, one twice requested I mail to a different address. The amounts are low: $18 and $11. My normal caution is telling me these sales will be a problem. Is there a manner by which I can easily cancel without a ding?

Re: Should or shouldn't I mail

MY ADVICE...

Customer #1: Send

Customer #2: Cancel the order ("problem with address") and instruct the customer to change their address with ebay then re-order with the correct address.

Good luck!

No there is not. Once they are paid for ship to the address on the order.

Good luck!

Re: Should or shouldn't I mail

Only send the item to the address ebay gives you.

when I have had this happen I contact the buyer and let them know I can only send to the address ebay gives me. If their address has changed please request a cancel. I will cancel your order so you can correct or add the address to your ebay account. I will relist the item and you can rebuy it.

You have no protections if you send to a different address then ebay gives you.

Re: Should or shouldn't I mail

Probably "Guest" accounts.  Get them all the time with no issues.

SHIP the (2) DVDs.......to the Addresses that e-Bay states are the address - do not deviate there.

You can email the Buyer and reiterate same and ask if they wish for you to cancel the order?  May be zero corollary between the 2 orders.

Re: Should or shouldn't I mail

Just ship.  I sold 1 watch to a seller that had 10 feedback.  The watch was $1,200.  Every thing went according to plan.  Don't judge a buyer, just because he/she doesn't have any feedback.  Buyers, can buy as a "Guest", on your end he/she will show as a 0 buyer.  I have bought stuff like this.  There are items that I don't want people to know where I bought them from, or the stuff that I bought that are just personal and I don't want other people to know.

Re: Should or shouldn't I mail

The new member who paid and gave an address- no problem. Ship.

The new member who wants delivery to an address he does not have on record, no.

He should enter the correct address when he pays.

Tell him you can only print his shipping label for the address he put on record when he registered earlier today.

Re: Should or shouldn't I mail

Agreed, just ship the order. I get zero feedback buyers all the time and I have no problem. There's a lot of scams on Ebay, but you really don;t need to be so paranoid.

Re: Should or shouldn't I mail

The first customer, I would give it a green light to ship away.

The second customer has red flags all over it.....cancel the order & ask the buyer to place a new order with the correct delivery address.

Good luck!
