He seems like a nice person in message and his buying feed back is 100% BUT the feedback hes left for others is mainly negatives and neutrals and allot of neutrals with postive remarks like "good" or "correct".
not sure if i should sell to him or not. can anyone give me some insight?

I’ve seen worse... but personally I wouldn’t sell to this guy. Let alone give him a discount. Too much drama potential in his feedback to sellers.
Why are you asking if you should give him a discount? Is he asking you for one? Did he already buy something from you?
Buying feedback doesn’t mean a hill o’ beans. Even if my hamster opened an account and screwed over a bunch of sellers, he’d still have 100% positive buying feedback... as a buyer can’t get anything else but positive.

Sounds like a trap if you ask me. A buyer like that leaving so many neutrals and negs (and some positives) with bad comments. On top of that he’s asking for a lower price... spidey senses tingling.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you agreed to the discount and he gets the item, tells you he doesn’t like it, then asks for a further discount because he isn’t satisfied (since he knows you’re bendable).
I am known to be a bit harsh to buyers though. Maybe someone nicer can chime in with what they’d do.

Just block him.
Too many red flags.
Asking for a discount -- and not using a formal Best Offer.
Leaving negs and neutrals.
False positives.
Not every sale is worth having.

It sounds like one bully of a buyer. Just remember that ALL buyers have 100% good feedback - ebay doesn't allow otherwise.

With so many problems with his buying history he'd be far better off at a B&M store, problem is he wouldn't be able to bully them into discounts, you cave now as another poster stated he'll be back for further discounts.
I'd block immediately, i see nothing but problems and then further problems.

Discount?
Discount?
I'd block.
There's plenty of other buyers out there.

He's asking you for a discount? On what basis? Just because he wants one? Well isn't that rich!
I ask all sellers to stop making this the bargain basement of stuff, with rewarding discounts just for the asking, turning this site into a garage sale dump. What kind of self respect do we sellers have if we give discounts just for the asking? Does not our wallet contents matter too? All that is secondary to the frightful feedback this guy leaves....

This potential buyer may seem nice but it also seems like he's asking to be paid [ in a sense ] not to leave you questionable feedback.. . Personally speaking ,, I'd avoid this sale .. Tulips

In fact it appears that he's using his own atrocious Feedback Left for Others as a bargaining chip, knowing that you'll see it while you research whether to offer a discount.
Reading between the lines of that feedback, it sounds like he keeps buying junk from Chinese sellers, then complains when he finds that it's not OEM material. If your item is the real thing and shows it (e.g. original factory packaging, original brand markings or any other indication that it's the genuine article), he might not complain.
However, when the first contact is a request for a discount with no further explanation, I would not be in a rush to agree. I don't know if I'd respond at all... maybe with some slightly off-topic question like, "Do you have any concerns or questions about this item?"

Personally, I wouldn't give this buyer any discounts. It sounds as if they are asking for hand outs. He/she may sound like a nice person in message, but the feedback left for others is terrible.
It's your choice whether or not to give them a discount or not. Ignore and block.

Yes. They're just not on eBay.
Depends on what you're selling here.
It appears a lot of people who are complaining about their low sales are selling items in categories that are saturated, or no longer have the popularity/appeal they once had. It doesn't take much to see that common thread between the products and low sales.
