I am trying to clear my storage unit with items not selling yet.
1. single car wheel rotors All new, but I don't sell these very often. People don't seem to want single rotors. Also have some sets of 2 that get very little views. Got a lot- maybe 20.
2. Toilets, only tanks not whole thing. If you ever sold these you would realize what a pain they could be. They do sell when listed, but is it worth it. Got 12
3. Disposable shoe covers. I sell in boxes of 2000, but had these listed with no sales. Does have some views though. When I tried 1 on, they were a little small for my size 11 tennis shoe. So there's that.
4. Non eBay related, but I have a car to donate or sell. 2010 Hyundai accent 177 k with a blown small radiator hose ( kids car ) Is the tax write off worth it or should I sell for a few hundred. May cost to much to fix.
Thanks for your help
Any thoughts on what you remove from listing if item wont sell.

You are the only one who knows
So you are the only one in a position to know whether it is "worth it or not" to sell them.

Hi russb,
We sell very different things, but maybe I can be helpful. You can have a storage unit sale. You'll have to have more than 3 or 4 items though. Clean out your closet, kitchen, see if your family has things they no longer want. Advertise on Craigslist and next door and plan to spend a good part of a Saturday hanging out there. Maybe a friend or family member can help, so you can take a bathroom break, etc. List on your ad a lot of the things you're selling, even used clothes. Be sure to have plenty of change. Good luck.

I agree with both lucky & cambria on this, The decision is really your choice alone, only you know if it is worth it to you to continue to try & sell these items or scrap or donate, Cambria's storage unit sale is a good idea & offers you a chance to unload some stuff without the burden of moving it, The car depending on the rest of it's condition is probably better to donate & take a tax write-off, If you decide on the storage unit sale, whatever is left afterwards you can then decide to scrap or donate, Whatever you decide Good Luck to You!

On the car.. if it only a HOSE, that's such an easy and cheap fix. Can be fixed in a matter of minutes. Then you can sell for decent money
If the rest is junk to you, then junk it

I'd try dropping the price a good amount on the rotors before I would scrap them. Lots of other sellers offering rotors though.......

The radiator hose is worth less than the car?
Do you have to disassemble the engine to get to it?
Is it in the engine block?
The car runs?

Why not just put them on for six months. If they sell, great. If not do with them what you want.
Good luck to you.

For the toilet tanks-check with Habitat For Humanity ReStore to see if they will take them. They sell leftover building supplies and many other things. The ReStore near me has become my new thrifting store.

All sounds like scrap or donate to me.
