I order bubble wrap several times a year and it seems that there is a real lack of different suppliers on here. Any the ones that are here, charge way more. I needed some of the pink anti-static kind and ordered it from SupplyHut like I have many times in the past.
I ordered a 350ft roll, and rather than the normal roll I get from them, I got a cardboard box with 2 smaller rolls in it. It didn't seem like the normal amount, so I unrolled one of the rolls and came up with 125ft. Both rolls appeared to be the same so I got shorted by 100ft.
I tell them that, and they tell me to return it. I explain that I want the 100ft or a credit. They ask how I determined it was short. I told them I actually measured it.
They again tell me to return it.
I open a return request and they have ignored me for over a day now.
Anyone else have a similar experience?

I just checked my recent BB wrap purchase and it’s been removed from my purchases page. No sellers name no item just the price what I paid.
Your Transaction Details page at PayPal @trustedbasset shows the seller's ID, the item description, etc FOREVER. And if you sign up for Return Shipping on Us first, PayPal will reimburse return shipping after you return for Not As Described within 180 days, no 50% deduction on the refund (because the seller can't get out of it😞

Never mind. I just measured it and it’s actually more than what I bought.
why would it be removed? I found the seller and they still sell bb wrap at good prices.

700’ at $26 something. Good price.

Yes I went to PayPal. It bugs me that eBay just poofs the listing you bought.

I said in the message that I will weigh the next package before I open it (I had ordered more bubble wrap from them). Since the whole package weighed 3lb 11.6 oz, and 350ft of their bubble wrap should weigh about 3lb 8 oz, if the package weighs the same, I'm going to assume its short.
Apparently, the seller will claim some is missing from the return and issue a partial refund. With this much documentation, I'll be arguing with ebay if they try that.
Exactly what that seller will do. You will get a 50% refund as sellers with "free returns" are allowed to make the deduction. Had the same exact problem with this seller. They shipped me two 125' rolls in a box as well.
Contacted them about the shortage. They replied with the "return for refund".
When they refunded a statement was included in the resolution center:
The item arrived back in a different condition than what was described. The package came back completely destroyed. Half the item arrived back.
The refund shortage was appealed to eBay. eBay paid the shortage. 1st strike against us to be flagged as "serial returners". The seller also sells as zoomXXXXX You may notice the pages look alike, and ship from same location.
Old thread but I'll confirm that. I just ordered from that Zoom account and sure as can be, I was shorted about half of a 700Ft roll. The seller has recent feedback from others saying the same. It's from Supplyhut, that is on the return shipping label.
Not only that, the return label provided was a first class label on an almost 5lb order. eBay has put the return on hold until the seller makes good on the shipping label. I am getting so sick of having to measure my bubble wrap just to not get ripped off.
It is a "return service" label. Same thing I had. PO scanned acceptance, and away it went.
Be sure to appeal the 50% refund to eBay. They will likely make up the shortage. They did for us. Only problem was "eBay" bucks had been used, and only 1/2 the bucks got credited back when all was over, so still lost $$.

They also blocked me from purchasing from them.
Oh, obviously, because you are just ready and eager to buy from them again! (Not!)

I have to say...the google reviews and BBB complaints are quite reliable when checking out this company supplyhut and zoomvalue, for that matter.
Ebay reliable feedback for them...not so much., the red donuts keep evaporating.
Beware buyers !
