Shipping Label: LOWER HALF Receipt section is Missing! NEED it for record keeping!!!

Clicked Print Label and it came up without the lower half receipt section...tried again, same thing. Called my sis who also sells in another town, same thing...NO RECEIPT! 

We need that for our records...BRING IT BACK!!!

Paypal shipping receipts started doing this 2 years ago. I simply print, take it out, turn it and 'print' again. Now I have the 'label' for records- shows who and how it shipped, weight. I add 'what it is' (which I do in large print anyway even when getting receipt' and the 'price I paid' at the top. Works, not ultimate, but works.

Thanks for your reply! The problem here is that the Receipt is not even present on the page - it's gone, it's missing so can't print what's not there.

Not sure if it's related but I'm seeing reports across social media and at least one thread here as well about eBay defaulting the shipping page to QR code instead of printable label.

I really appreciate all the time you've invested to help out here & on my duplicate. I've never ever posted a dupe before (and will never again), but I've posted before on the Shipping page (years ago) and didn't get much help so decided to post in Selling also. Believe me, I'll never do that again as it's a bit too much keeping up with both threads, lol.

For those who've not seen the duplicate, I responded there that all my label settings are correct and Receipt box is checked so that's not the issue.

One more thing @bauble-babes @klhmdg and whoever might be seeing this problem:

What browser are you using?

Is there a difference when you print with a different browser?

Is your browser set to open PDF labels with Acrobat or with your browser's built-in reader?

What happens if you go to the reprint option, download a copy of the label, then open the PDF with Acrobat?

Sometimes browser built-in readers cause issues with labels and I want to rule that out if possible.

To reprint a label purchased through eBay (or download a copy of a QR code through the reprint function), go to this page, find the order and select Reprint from the Actions drop-down. The reprint option is available for 7 days.

Based on this post I asked the moderator to merge the 2 threads together for you so everything is in one place on the Shipping board. It will be easier for you to follow and will avoid duplication of posters' efforts on both threads. Hopefully the moderator is willing to make the adjustment and help everybody here. 🙂

1) This is not just me - it's also happening to my sister. Neither of us has changed anything on the label page. We are seasoned sellers who've been here many years.

2) Tried Reprint MANY times (both of us) to no avail...the bottom half is always missing (as of 11-6).

Those don't show what the receipt does.

I keep the receipt part with the order and it shows tracking #, weight, label cost etc etc all in one convenient place.

And yes, I keep hard copies. Been working with computers and accounting way too long to not do that.

IME when PP changed to Shipstation they stopped printing receipts as such.

I understand that and THAT is why I said to 'just print the label twice'; using the same paper, taking it out and refeeding it; then you have a COPY of the label; add the cost, shipping type and item and you have a receipt. I've done this for about 500 orders since PP stopped issuing the 'receipt' half.

Make sure you selected Printable Label.  For some reason, it defaulted to QR code on the first label I purchased today.  I didn't realize that was what happened until I went to buy the second.  I clicked printable label BEFORE I purchased it and the receipt info was there.

THANKS SO MUCH for your many efforts!  Before I answer, want to remind you that this is also happening to my sister, an ebay seller, who lives in a different town. She had no issues last week (i had no sales to ship). Neither of us has changed any settings anywhere and we're doing what we've been doing for 8+ years - this has never happened to either of us until today 11-6-23.

What browser are you using?  The most current Firefox. Not sure what Sis is using.

What happens if you go to the reprint option, download a copy of the label, then open the PDF with Acrobat? The receipt is still absent from that page via the download method - only the label shows.  Have also tried to just Reprint many times throughout the day (from new pages each time), but receipt never shows.
