Hi, can anyone explain this to me? I shipped a item to a customer on the 15th 3 days ago. package weighed 3 lbs. My shipping label charge after discount came to $10.04 priority mail. this morning i woke up to a sale to the same person for the exact same item but different color. I printed my label this morning--same weight, same address, same priority mail service but today the shipping charge for the label was $8.98 and not $10.04? the first package was BIN+ shipping, the same item that sold today was BIN+ Free Shipping. that was the only difference, did I receive a TRS+ discount or something for offering free shipping? I have a No Returns Policy so.. I am confused as to the discrepancy in label cost? Anyone have an answer? thanks in advance!

There are no discounts related to whether you've offered Free shipping.
$8.98 is the Commercial Plus postage rate to ship 3 pounds to Zone 5 via Priority Mail.
You need to go back and check whether you remember that $10.04 charge correctly.

It was only 3 days ago, I did double check this morning on pay-pal and ebay labels page. The charge was $10.04 and today it was $8.98. something is wrong. and I double checked my weights also, from the post office scan receipt.

The only place that $10.04 shows up for Priority Mail is for shipping 7 pounds to Zone 4 at Commercial Base rates.

well I guess I should call CS? I dread dealing with that but my question is how often is this happening? because over a buck a package more sure adds up over a year.

But the newer label was correct. I see no reason to pursue this unless an incorrect price comes up again. Especially since CS will probably have no remedy and be just a waste of your time.
