Shipping Fees being deleted

Two weeks ago, I sold some items and one of them I noticed the shipping was free. I wasn't sure if I made a mistake in the listing or not, so I honored the sale.

After that, I checked all my listings to ensure all of them had shipping fees listed and no free shipping. 

Today, an item sold and the shipping was marked as free. 

After googling, I see that this was an issue in the past with Ebay deleting shipping charges. 

Has anyone had a similair issue lately?

It hasn't happened to me yet. I'll page ebay employees to see if it's a known issue.

All your auctions are labeled free shipping.........you have none now (auctions or free shipping).......

Your last auction before this new one, ended 2/16, so maybe before your check and before the last one was listed.

When you relist auctions......are you using sell similar?

@im_greg_p, looking at your closed listings, you had 7 listings that ended recently which had free shipping.

One of them just sold on Mar 1, but it had been listed at least twice earlier, and they all had free shipping. There's no sign that anything was changed on that listing, and it wasn't revised.

I don't see any evidence that your shipping costs are being removed ... you need to be careful when you are relisting items, and make sure that shipping costs are being charged, if you don't want to give free shipping.

All of your currently active listings have shipping charges, but be careful if you relist any of your listings that ended recently without being sold.

The OP's listings (shipping) are a mess! They had some as Free Shipping, some as Calculated and some as Flat Rate.

To make matters worse they are using Parcel Select for some that could easily go First Class and some using Priority that could also go First Class.

I had this happen to me a couple of days ago. My item sold and I was shocked to see that somehow free shipping got put on the listing. After some experimentation, it looks to me like the Mobile App is randomly checking the free shipping box, so I've been doing the ol' save as draft on the App and complete listing on desktop pc routine. I lost $4 and change on the one transaction, lesson learned for me I guess.
