Sharp drop in Impressions

Has anyone else noticed that their impression both organic and promoted has dropped?

Since 6th July, I can see a massive drop in my organic impressions (to 1/5 th) and a big drop in promoted (to a half nearly).

I have not changed anything on my listings and I have since talked to CS about this where they confirmed that my account is not restricted and there is nothing they can see that would be wrong on my account / listings.

Yet I can see this sharp drop. Can it be that they have changed how they show these data? or how they count it?

Anyone else see this drop in their traffic?

      Not really a stat I watch. More concerned with actual sales. There could be any number of reasons for the drop in the impressions difficult to assess what is causing your particular drop.

No, I have not noticed a drop in impressions since July 6th.

We’ve had one full day since July 6.  One day swings don’t really seem like something over which to worry.

Thank you for all of your feedbacks. Looks like it was a data error as looking back at it now shows up normal now. No drop. Not sure what happened, but at least it is fixed.

I just raised my promoted listing a couple percent on Friday, and noticed significant increase in traffic as far as impressions, i only did like 100 out of 700 items then Sunday i upped all my items and last two days, my impression have been 1/4 of what they have been. its odd, page views are higher than ever, sales seem normal but that impression chart is scaring me. i was consistently getting 300-400 thousand a day and not even breaking 100k past couple days, hopefully a glitch or something. scares me i upped it another 5% and now getting like nothing for impression compared to prior and i raised them. my impression have been consistent for at least a year. its so weird!!!

@goldnugget_uk  While I did not notice it this time around (haven't been looking so not sure if I was affected), I can tell you with absolute certainty that there have been 2 semi-recent occasion with anomalies that a affected a number of sellers, that eBay then went back & altered saying it was just a data issue or lag time issue.   One was just a few months ago, the other around 6-8 mos. ago.  So, that has been SOP in how they deal with these things.  Does know anyone know if that's what really happened?  Nope.  A number of long threads about it, both times.

I'm surprised that more are not reporting this. We are noticing the same thing on our account. From yesterday to the day before we had a 200,000 impressions drop. Right now, from yesterday to today, we have a good 120,000 impressions drop. Overall today, we are down 350,000 impressions from what we normally average if today's impressions hold. I called support earlier and let them know. The girl there did agree that something is messed up and when this will be fixed is another story. Who knows what is going on now as its one glitch after another.
