Setting to make all listings BIN by default? (As opposed to auction)

Hello, I've found a few old posts, and one recent post which I can't reply to for some reason, asking the question: How do you make NEW listings, including "Sell similar" type listings, default to BUY IT NOW not AUTCTION?

This is a small step, but it takes extra time for each listing, and at least on desktop, when you change from Auction to BIN, that part of the form has to reload which also takes more time while eBay tries to figure out what the avg price is. I notice any time you change info like in the description it also updates that. Really wish you could just input your info, then submit it like the old days, but mainly I just want to save this ONE step of having to change all my listings to BIN! Anybody know how to do this?

If you do "sell similar" on a BIN, it should be set to BIN.

When you are relisting scroll down the listing page to find Pricing > Format click format to open the menu select Buy It Now. or If your item has ended you can relist it as Fixed Price (Buy it Now) see image below . You can select more than one listing to set as fixed price.

So this is actually what I'm talking about. Thanks for the screenshot, I guess I could have included it. I will have to check again on sell similar, because this might be just on my new listings that I used a barcode scan for (where eBay fills in the vast majority of product info). When that doesn't work I do use sell similar.

But what I'm asking about, is can it be avoided having to change it from Auction - to BIN? Doing that little step takes extra time and messes up the flow of listing. When you select it to change, the form gets blanked out while eBay servers send packets back and forth. (See screenshots on this post)

I believe the only thing that will a change is price of the item nothing else should be affected.
If I am incorrect someone will be along to chime in.
I only list as fixed price.

You should choose Actions and switch to Buy It Now through the bulk listing editor.

I can switch BINs to Auctions this way...but I don't have any auctions to test with.

I think that will be my best option. My current process is to take pictures of several products in a row, then scan them, then edit/finalize on a PC where I can actually see more than 1 thing on the screen at a time. If I can bulk edit them to change the listing type, that's almost as good as having it default for me.

Thanks for everyone's help.
