Setting delivery dates?

I see sellers with delivery dates of 2 to 3 weeks. How do I adjust my estimated delivery dates?

You don't'; estimated dates are automated by 2 pieces of information you input when listing. 1.) Handling time (time from purchase to you giving to post office 2.) Type of shipping chosen (expedited ie. Priority or Standard ie. ground/1st Class etc.)

Change your handling period to a higher number of days.

You could increase your handling time.   Using the generic 'economy shipping' in your listings used to give a delivery date of up to 10 business days although that might have changed now and might vary based on the buyer's location.

Point 1 also takes into account how fast you had shipped in the past, so if you say 3 days, but usually ship in 1, they would factor in the 1 day, not 3, giving incorrect estimated dates.

I have 5 days handling because I build to order, but also work weekends, so a Sat order will ship out next Friday, but I'll ship it Monday- it still says the same 'estimated' time (and has since 2011.
