Set up your automatic payment method why do you haunt me?

Ok why does this "Set up your automatic payment method " keep haunting me in Seller Hub Under Tasks?

 

I have set up Automatic Payments 5 times now and this notice keeps coming back

Now it is just annoying autopaymentsnightmare.PNG

It could be a glitch or perhaps eBay decided it's your turn
to go into grope 2 of Managed Payments.

 

I've never seen any announcement about grope 2 but in last
weeks weekly chat you will find this. Apparently some sellers
are already in grope 2 of Managed Payments with plans to

move all sellers in.

I'm confused as to where I stand. I opted into MP during August, 2019, but had a store before that. (ii?)

I need to see what's up before my renewal in March and try to get my House of Cards situated. IJS... 😕

Don't you just love the way eBay rolls out changes? Always shows up in a Community post with someone asking WTeF is going on. Then eBay thinks about putting out a notice of some kind.

I've set mine up twice and the "task" keeps showing up. I started a post about it but is was unbelievably moved to the payments board. 

 

Also, the auto payments section of My eBay is still empty

I am with you in being confused.  I opted in during Sep 2019, so both of us should be in Phase 1.  eBay has stated we will get notification before the change doing away with invoicing fees.  However, I am having doubts about that with other sellers experiencing changes to their account without notification.

payments_team@ebay  the seller @coastaltechsolution who posted this thread is also having the same problem.  I bet they would like their account added to the report you mentioned in another thread regarding this problem.

I have been seeing this too! I went into managed payments in the early part of January. I set it up then, and now I see this notice for close to two weeks now. I went in again and filed the info, and the notice still surfaces.

This new process is absolutely ridiculous.  I have tried about 5 times to set up the new system, and been told 5 times I am in the new system,.....but Ebay keeps telling me none of my information is correct.  They are absolutely full of **bleep**!!!!  I have double checked everything and it is all correct.

Not only that.....this non-verifiable nonsense crashed my computer 2 days ago and REALLY CAUSED A HASSLE.   AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST.....THEY ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY REQUESTS FOR CALL BACKS AND THEREFORE ARE EVIDENTLY AVOIDING ANSWERING QUESTIONS.

 

I think they may be trying to force us to use Wells Fargo which I refuse to do since they have been proven in the past to be less the honest.

 

I am closing my store.  This is just too much to deal with.

Thank you for the suggestion and yes tried setting it there also with no luck as the paranormal beast haunted me again.
