Serious views reduction in past week.

My views statistics shows substantial views reduction on newly listed items. I did not get any warnings about breaching of Ebay rules or similar that would explain it. My listings remain standard for years thus i ask if anything strange happened in past week?

EBAY had recent change and now only shows view for the past 30 days.

The new counters now show how awful eBay's traffic really is.

Not sure they really wanted to do that; they accidentally told the truth.  It shows the true state of affairs, i.e. terrible for a lot of us.

I guess I never concerned myself with them since I don't even have mine set up to show.

Do views, impressions and all that other carp improve your sales?

Bot view are gone, spend less time worrying about views and just stay focussed on your over all sales. I've had many zero view items selling. Go to perfomance / traffic / scroll down change active to sold listings, then see the true views versus sales. You'll see all that matters is the actual buyer clicking your listing.
