Can someone tell me why I cannot send offers on some of my listing.  I get the message "

Listings not eligible for offers

You can’t send offers to interested buyers for the listings you selected. Try selecting different listings.

I'm sure it's something I am doing wrong, but I can't get eBay to give me an answer to my question....they dance all over it and give me answers to questions that I don't ask....lol  The listing have tons of view and watchers over the last several weeks.  HELP and thanks.

Buyer may have opted to not receive offers. So the item comes up as eligible, when you try to send it, it realizes that you can't.

Generally when I try to send an offer and it's ineligible and I hit cancel, the listing disappears from the list. You could also try to send to more than one listing (with a discounted percentage that's the same for all listings on your list), and then this ineligible listing will disappear after a failed attempt to send an offer.

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. In the past year +/-  I usually had 4-5 items eligible for "send offer." These items were selected by ebay and I am sure it was based on their algorithm somehow.

Sometimes an item listed for <30 days was eligible or had no watchers. I don't believe in reducing the price on a newly listed item.

Now, on average, I have 20-25 items eligible for offers.

Not only can buyers choose not to receive offers, if you have previously sent an offer to the buyer, the cannot be sent a new offer.

@myrtlesmess72  In addition to the reasons already stated, if sales are processing to start or end, you cannot send offers during that time.

In Addition, If you have a buyer on your BLOCKED LIST and they are watching the item and you send an offer you will get this message.

Thanks all.

I had one of those Eligible for Offers this evening that was then ineligible, and you have all given me food for thought.
