Anyone else notice that Seller Offers appear to be pre-scripted instead of allowing sellers to use a custom marketing message? All this time I've been using the message field with a custom message...
But I noticed that everyone that I receive is exactly the same...
Why provide a custom message field? Am I missing something? 🤔

Yes. Your last screenshot: scroll down further - near the bottom of the blue box look for "Message from [seller]."

I just got an offer, there's a custom message. I think they default fill that in, so perhaps my seller didn't change it, but there is a space for the seller to leave a message:

Ah! I found one with a personal message. The others must have been "automated".

Side note.... what an obscure place to put the seller's message. Unless it's blinking, I don't expect buyers to notice it. 🧐

some buyers do... sometimes I get responses with my message where I explain when shipping will happen (I put that in with an offer so they don't rush and buy and find out on Friday night that I won't ship until Monday if they expected immediate shipping). Other times they accept the offer and I get complaints on things I addressed in the custom message.
I did just watch a dozen items and have gotten 4 offers in the last 10 minutes. I'm wondering if these sellers have some way of knowing someone new has watched their item to send me an offer. it's kind of odd that I watched 12 items and got 4 offers within 10 minutes of watching these items.

That's the "automatically send offers" function.
Next time you send an offer, you'll see the checkbox with that option.
