Seems previously, the offers that I send expired after 2 days. Now my offers are active for 5 days ? Looked, but did not see a way to change the time frame in settings?
Normally I would not care, except that it is now impossible to manage the listing ( add pics, etc) when offers are pending?
New policy, or am I missing something?
Thanks!

It was changes a month or two ago.
I think offers are good for 4 days now and you can't change it.

eBay changed the time frame to 4 days if you send an offer. Seller to Buyer. You cannot change it.
It changed in September, I think.
A buyer sent me an offer the other day and it was only for 24 hours.
What is good for the goose (or something like that)

@tck210 They went from 48 hours to 96 hours a little while ago. There was no announcement.
One workaround I've been using (but obviously it is kind of limited). If I'm running, say, a 10% off sale but would be willing to take off another 10%, I send an offer during the last day or so of the sale, telling the buyer the item is on sale at 10% off through tonight or tomorrow, whichever it is, and this offer gives them a bonus 10% discount....but obviously to get the full value of the offer, they must accept before my sale ends. This adds a bit of urgency. But of course, if they neither accept or reject the offer, it will still tie up the listing for the full 4 days.
It was a stupid change, but ebay has resisted any efforts to discuss it on this Board. I doubt they'll change it back.

Just another annoying thing eBay does because they think it's helpful to sellers but it's actually terrible. If eBay would get rid of all these people making worthless changes and messing up the site every other day some of us might be able to sell something!
