I feel that I am only managing to sell things because I am putting in different amounts of ad run times. I am doing 10 days at the first of the month then 3 rounds of 3 days or 4 or 5 and then a week run. It is giving me more views due to people shopping patterns of looking at huge areas of ads and only looking at newly listed and ending soonest which is the way I shop on ebay. It is still like watching paint dry but I sold 1000.00 of stuff so it wasn't a total loss. They are telling me how dismal the click through rate is and it makes me sick but they sure aren't helping me either,.

I didn't have any sales in march but April was somewhat better but I still think it is my listing strategy helping me. It sure isn't ebay. My items cost more so I have less sales. I still work a regular job or could possibly deal with more stuff at a time.

Sales are in the toilet here for me as well. It is eB that is the problem and I know it now for a fact. I took several items and placed them somewhere else and lo and behold sales! These items were being warehouse and collecting dust at my house, because eB can't get the job done (isn't that what we pay them for?), but same item, same photos and even got a better price......and they sold just fine. I actually feel energized and happier than I have felt in a while. I feel hopeful, instead of depressed. The format is easier and I can list double the items in one day than I can with eB. I have said it before, you are not crazy (other sellers), it is not your imagination or something you are or are not doing, eB has lost it's way and time is running out for eB to turn it around. The first step is to oust Wenig and his minions and get someone "who" remembers when eB was fun and people wanted to be here, instead of turning it into a deep discounted strip mall.
BTW: My new venus is having an "open" too....locally and it only costs me $10 to attend and that includes a free drink 🙂

had one sale todeay......the interesting thing is that we have NEVER had only one sale in a day...our normal is 7 at a minimum.......
im thinking that ebay is no longer advertising my items in other categories for me, even though i pay for advertising....
im thinking their new program is to lock our items into ONLY their listed categories......in other words, unless someone specifically puts in your item, they will not see it..

My favorite: My lost is your gain.

MY last sale was April 24th, All my sales Stopped, And my Views are low or 0.
I sell Jewelry mostly, I do not buy the..... It must be what I am selling. You don't go from Power seller to no sales overnight. April 24 All my Sales Stopped.

Gees people. I enjoy coming here to read the threads. I have given up on this site years ago when it happened to us. I went down thru everyones listings. To see what you all sell. It spams every type of item. Nice items. When there is this much variety out there for sale, and everyone is experiencing the same problem. I would come to the conclusion it's NOT YOU, Not what your selling. It's EBAY. Selling does have it's ebbs and flows by the time of year... But come on? I wish you all the best of luck! Because when ebay changes the product listings and search, your going to need all the luck you can get. The COOL Ebay of fair visibility and sales is gone. And I dont think it's ever coming back for the simple reason, it's too far gone to be fixed. And Ebay doesnt even have a clue as to what they are doing wrong. They have a "vision" LOLOLOL.

May is shaping up to be my worst month since I started selling NOS parts. At this rate, May will be my worst month since January 2012.
At some point, it just won't be worth the inconvenience of keeping all these dusty parts around.

I have been doing this for a little over a year. I do noticed waves of sells and in those waves the majority of purchases seem to be isolated to one area of the country.
i learn more everyday but I think one of the most important lessons I have learned is to not be isolated to one sales platform.
You must have your items listed on 4 or 5 of them.
most of my items are purchased here at ebay but the others do get sales also.
I would never bother with Amazon Circus simply because of Bezo the clown
