has anyone discussed any issue with eBay Plus criteria before? While we understand how to qualify for ebay plus badge, it would seem that ebay applies these criteria differently to other retailers. One of the criteria is to offer free domestic postage. Retailers such as Big W and ebgames are able to have the ebay plus badge on listings without offering free postage. I have tried to speak to ebay about the unfair trading terms and they said that Big W has different terms.
I think it is "unfair trading". Ebay plus badge has criteria and should be applied the same to all.
Any thoughts?

I assume you are talking about Top Rated Seller Plus (otherwise what exactly is "eBay Plus?)'
You are mistaken in your belief.
I am a TRS+ seller and these are the requirements:
As a Top Rated Seller, you get 10% off final value fees, as well as a seal on your listings, when you offer same or 1 day handling time, and, for most categories, a free 30 day return policy.
NOTHING about free domestic shipping. Only free RETURN shipping BUT not in every category.

Free shipping isn't a requirement in the United States.

Hi @lemony_gem_toys ,
You're registered in Australia, and as far as I know eBay Plus is only available on eBay Australia. For those who don't know, it's a subscription for buyers, for AU$4.95 per month, to receive free express shipping (to Metro areas) or free standard shipping (to addresses outside Metro areas).

This community board is on eBay.com. There are a few regular posters here from Australia, but most posters are from the USA. If you want to discuss this, you would get more informed responses on the eBay Australia community:
