I recently did a buyout of a high-end store going out of business of there unused Tester perfume.
The bottles are marked Tester on the packages and Demonstration on the bottle and are NEW. I was told the first time I had them removed it was because I was using the word Tester. I was told I could not use it even though there were over 1500 listing using it. I was also told I could not use the words sample or Demonstration. I then relisted only using the photographs to show the labels I was again taken down and given a second warning of a permanent ban if I listed again. I separated these listings by over two weeks. During this time I watched the same other seller still have there listings up selling multiple bottles. Why is eBay protecting some sellers why restricting others. I wrote and called eBay support and was told to bad I was not allowed to list. Where is the fair play in this? 5,134 results for perfume tester. This was one reason I left Amazon due to they would restricts some people from selling items but not others.

I believe EBAY changed their policy and only allow "brand new" perfume to be sold.

eBay policy enforcement has never been complete, accurate, or timely.
That aside ...
What gave you the idea that eBay would be fair?
eBay user agreement:
"We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or terminate all or part of our Services to anyone for any reason at our discretion."
