A few years ago, a pen I had listed sold while I was in the hospital recovering from a heart attack. Because I did not ship the pen within the promised time frame, the seller left negative feedback. When I explained the circumstances, the buyer tried to revise his feedback but was told he could not. I contacted the company president who sent me a letter stating that my selling privileges should be reinstated. I then got an email from eBay saying I had been reinstated as a seller. However, when I try to list an item, I upload images and get a message informing me that I can buy but cannot sell on eBay. I have tried contacting someone but have been unable to reach anyone. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

With a $3500 item not received case, that probably finished your career here permanently. You didnt have anyone at home who could have shipped the pen? To revise the fb, you would have had to send your buyer a fb revision request. You could try Ebay for Business on Facebook, use the message link and plead your case.

Selling is much different these days than a few years ago. If you go on your settings page, you need to make sure that all your identity information is correct (including SSN or ITIN, or EIN), and that you have a bank / financial institution attached to your account. I believe eBay also requires that you upload state ID or passport information ... but I may be confusing eBay with other sites.
Have you done all that?
