Have it in the Everything and information category. Ship it via postal mail on DVD. Still kicks me out. I have around 3 million digitals I can ship. Ebay is plugging my funnel. I have three websites and sell ebooks with digital downloads. I started building my own ebay store to help others trying to make a dime selling estuff. I got the mail to 1.1 oz and due to padding on the envelope usps want $2.75. Talk about throwing money out the window. Appreciate any help getting over this hurdle
tks

If it's an ebook, it should go into the books category. Put it in a vintage category if you can. I believe vintage books are sold in the books category. Then you can send via media mail which is much cheaper. I believe it's about $3 for up to one pound. It takes 5-7 days however first class is now up to 5 days instead of 2-3 days. Good luck

Do you own the copyrights to the ebooks you are attempting to sell or have the copyright owner's written permission to reproduce the works? Are these works in the public domain?

What are PLRs?
You might want to visit the US Copyright Office site.

And after you've done that, you might also consider reviewing the eBay Electronically delivered items policy. https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/digitally-delivered-goods-policy?id=4...

If you got them for free online you can't sell them here. Ebay doesn't want to knowingly partcipate in that kind of activity.

Are you burning these DVDs yourself, from content for which you have Private Label Rights? Or do you buy them as DVDs? In either case, why are you selling them as e-books / digital content? Or do you mean that the buyer cannot simply put the DVD in a player and access the content? I am confused.

An e-book is anything that is not a standard book. Being on a DVD, it is an item NOT being electronically sent to the buyer, but a DVD that is being Mailed to the Buyer.
OP- the price difference for shipping is 1st Class Package gives Tracking number- good for both buyer and seller (without it you have no proof of shipment).
You can also mail them Media Mail (no tracking, slow).
Due to weight and being over 1 oz. you can't ship as a 'letter' for the price of a stamp.
Therefore, Nothing can be done about this.
