Selling a expensive item

I need help with the process of selling, I don’t really use eBay much but decided to sell an expensive item (jewelry) someone placed a bid but I’m checking that person has no feedback and I was wondering when the auction finishes do I ship my item right away or do I have to wait until that person payment goes through first ? Sorry for these questions but I’m really lost right now and don’t want to screw things up and send something and don’t get anything

     You got VERY lucky. Whatever you do I would think long and hard about what advice you have been given before relisting this on eBay. Sooner or later a scammer is going to see it.

Good luck to you..have you thought about using a local auction house? I sold a sapphire and diamond Tiffany platinum ring thru our big auction house here in Chicago. It did great..and they put the ring in their catalog to show it so lots of people showed up to bid. And i was there too, it was very exciting! And they also authenticated the ring.

After everyone’s advice not to sell this on eBay you’ve relisted it again. I guess you won’t mind when the buyer gets the ring AND his money back at some point.

Unreal, we can give advice, but member has the option to ignore it 😞

I hope this comes out okay but somehow, I see little hope of that happening way too many online scams these days.

 I see you are in New York City like me.

The only way I’d sell that ring on eBay is local New York City pick up ONLY with cash payment at local pick up in safe public place.
