Over the past few years I've bought a number of science fiction books, used and new, and we don't really have the room to keep everything even if we wanted to. It would not be worthwhile to list each book individually for a few dollars. Do you think I might have luck to sell, say, ten or fifteen books, all with different authors but the same science fiction genre? The sets of books I see for sale are more closely related e.g. all by the same author. Any suggestions would be appreciated, including even how to choose a subject for the listing. Thank you.

Check Completed Listings, and see how desirable yours are...
and see if they do better separately or in sets.
Condition is a big issue too.

Donating them to your library might be your best option.

Wasn't there a post recently about somebody throwing a bunch of books in the dumpster because they couldn't get anything for them here?

We are a reading family and as such have had at any one time a couple thousand books in my home.....ALL different genres. Some years back, I sold LOTS of books on Ebay.... sets, collections and just misc lots.
Fast forward to the Kindle age......tried to sell some that previously would have gone super fast.....nothing. Ended up donating them as a charitable deduction.
