Sellers Playboy list that is not allowed. internal list that ebay does not provide and violates you

here is the list of playboys to date that will give you a listing violation. ebay does not post nor share this list (easily). I do not understand why ebay will not post this list so sellers do not get account violations and restrictions. is it so difficult to be proactive? 

    after going round and round and round about playboy being allowed as stated, and yet fail to provide a list that will cause your account to have policy violations. i was finally able to verbale get an internal ebay list of playboys. i asked about penthouse the person would not say or provide if any violate policy.

Good luck arguing with the bots. 

Some years ago I bought a whole box of around 3-4 years worth of 1990s-era Playboys for $5 total at a barn sale. Thought it was quite a score at the time but I can see a lot of headaches selling them here and I am starting to realize why the last seller just wanted to be rid of them. I will probably just flip them at our next neighborhood sale. The photos are nice anyway. 😉

Almost every anniversary issue has "recycled" pictures of the earlier models that may or may not have been photographed before they were 18. That is why subsequent issues are on the "hit list"

The actual removal list is much longer......

when I point out the "fact" that (for example) Donna Michelle...even though her submission pictures may have been at "17", her Playmate of the Year pictorial was shot when she was 18...yet that issue is still in violation. I even presented the facts from her bio....

"...Donna Michelle Ronne was an American model, actress, and photographer. Known professionally as Donna Michelle, she was Playboy magazine's December 1963 Playmate of the Month and 1964 Playmate of the Year. She was the youngest Playmate of the Year ever at just 18 years old..."

I essentially stopped trying to sell in this genre.  Too confusing and when I think I got it right, Ebay takes down my listing and tells me I violated policy.  It's crazy

You can add these to the list as well (just got removed): We removed your listing as the issue contains modeling images of a nude minor under the age of 18 (Any of the following issues: Jan 1979, Feb 1979, Aug 1979, Oct 1979, Nov 1979, Dec 1979). eBay does not permit these items on the site due to the potential for misuse of children's images that is prevalent in the online world. You can search Google ENDLESSLY for info about this & there is NONE. So WHERE eBay got the notion of "minors" being included in these magazines is very suspect & impossible to confirm with any reliable info or news source anywhere.

Add Jan 2000 and Sept 2000 to the list too - just had a complete year lot ended because of these 2 issues.

I am still amazed at how many NOT ALLOWED items are actually listed on eBay and NEVER taken down even though they have been reported for years! Seems they leave up stuff that should be taken down and remove listings that have a word that AI doesn't like regardless of the item. I fought for almost a month to be able to list GI Joe toy guns that were less than 2 inches long. I would just give up cause it's not worth the hassle.

One reason stores and companies make a big issue about nudes and old pin up girls pictures is to distract from other problems. I used to be in an antique mall in southwest ohio and the manager got very angry at me for having an art book from 1937 containing drawings and paintings of nudes yet this same manager was stealing things from the dealers. This is true for other malls.  According to many owners and managers, this prudishness is a good ploy to distract while stealing gold and diamond jewelry from show cases. No one would ever suspect a big prude owner or manager.
