Sellers: Ebay will remove any and all negative feedback left by buyers, regardless if they purchased a watch and receive dog poo. All that needs to be done is contact an EBay representative and say something like, “ it’s cloudy outside. Will you please remove their negative feedback?” POOF!!!! No more negative feedback. You see, Ebay doesn’t care about the buyers experience. So buyers beware! The sellers are running the show!

Oh I have checked! I also called Ebay and asked on 3 different occasions why a negative feedback was removed. 3x’s was told, “Yeah! I’m not sure. The FB was justified. But we will retrain the rep who removed it.” Yeah! FB is one big joke!

If you feel it is a joke, the good news is you are not required to leave any or to use feedback at all.

1 Seller told me 2 day shipping for $20. 8 days went by b4 receiving. Negative left. Negative removed.
1 Seller sold a missed labeled item. Size incorrect. Pictures showed seller was wrong. Seller refusing to accept return saying was not responsible for misprint. Negative FB left. Negative FB removed.
1 Seller sold a bottle of clearly fake perfume. Had a 30 day return policy. Seller would not take it back because it was opened and checked. Negative FB left. Negative FB removed.
I can go on with at least 4 more this year.
You forgot to add the watch you bought and got dog turd instead.

Maybe I missed it in one of your responses, but we're you insulting or did you use profane words in your feedback? I know that 80 characters isn't a lot of space to describe the terrible transactions, so some people start using a few "blunt" words...not that you did or anything, but just checking a possible scenario...personally, I have only left negative feedback twice, and it was for egregious reasons, but then I move on...I get it, you're **bleep**, but by checking up on the status after you left it might lead to an ulcer. If its true, then just chalk it up as, you did what you could to warn others, and move on...if the buyer found a way to beat the system, then you can't do anything about it anyway. Just know you did all that you could do.

Nothing less pleasant than getting a box full of canine **bleep** when you are expecting a Rolex 😉

Check out this thread. At least one seller is the beneficiary of feedback removal.

Yes, it is absurd, but it calls into question the whole feedback thing.

I believe it.
I do, it's not very far from what we've been reading.
Someone who can afford a neg could always test it, too.
Maybe do it with a buying account, sell something to a friend, have them neg you...
Then call CS and say "but my fart stunk" and see if they remove the FB.
Then again feedback doesn't really do much, it sure won't get the buyer their money back.
Ultimately that's the job of the MBG and if a buyer knows how to "use" the system then it is the seller gets gamed.

Maybe the problem is you leaving excessive negative feedback, and your history of doing do is making is so easy to have it removed.
Every negative I've gotten from habitual negative leavers has been removed for that exact reason. When there is a clear patters of buyers abusing the feedback system, it's not that hard to make a call and have it deleted.

and I forgot to mention the netral you left another seller complaining about him not leaving you feedback....
"Seller did not seem to appreciate my purchase enough to leave me a feedback."
Or the negative feedback you left another seller that was a product review instead of a seller review
"Not worth it. Seller also seems unappreciative of the business."

thats what they always seem to tell buyers. I don't know maybe they don't want to hurt their feelings...but generally when they come here we find why they were removed and usually it was a reason feedback is removed.
Are you mentioning leaving a negative in any of your communication with the sellers?

yes but being this being several different sellers it seems more likely it has something to do with how the buyer is handling feedback rather then the buyer is just unlucky enough to get the few sellers who might get special treatment.
