Sellers Account address not allowing PO Box

I encountered multiple problems when setting up a Seller's account address, Ebay doesn't let you put in a When the Post Office box number is only a physical address as recognized by the USPS. Problem is that if you live in the mountains, for example, and outside of rural delivery for obvious reasons, the local USPS assigns you a box number and does not have your physical address assigned to you, thus requiring a PO Box number. Mutliple calls to the town, county or state agencies will not solve the problem. SO you must find the local post office physical address followed by "Unit (then the box number) and assign it under your Ebay account addresses from the their home page. This needs to be done on the Registration, Shipping and Ship From addresses which will then allow you to assign it under the Seller's Account address. I would guess that any address, in the U.S., that is outside of rural delivery or post office delivery area would be applicable for the is fix (such as desert or island residences).

Your checking account would also have to have that address on it.

The information on your Ebay account and checking account have to match exactly.

Are you trying to set up managed pay,ents? If so, the address on your ID, bank account, and seller account must be the same. You can have diffrent address for returns and such but the main address must match.

Just curious.... I assume you can't even get a house service call or use 911 to give an address?

How do you invite people over for a party with a PO BOX # given as an address?

We had the same issue early on. We have a street address so to speak, but no mailbox/service. So UPS/FedEx use the street address, but USPS won’t deliver/pick up.

Had to get a post office box as soon as we moved here and had to make sure banks, cc and any other important things, have all the same information (all match). 

Address had to be written one of two ways:

Business/Name

123 Main St., Box 456

Anywhere, USA

12345 

OR 

Business/Name

123 Main St

Box 456

Anywhere, USA

12345

It did consist of a few phone calls and visit to banks, but since we have used this format (leaving p.o. abbreviation out of mailing address), we have had very few issues.

The biggest thing is to make sure ALL things match.
