Amazingly my Selling account has been restricted to a limited amount of listing because I SOLD TOO MUCH, in the last month! I have been in business 42 years with a great nationwide reputation! I have been an Ebay member for 20 plus years & have sold $1.48 million dollars on Ebay. That's 30,000 transactions with a 100 % feedback rating. I don't take kindly to some Arbitrary Algorythem telling me how to ruin my business. I am HONEST, & I AM TRYING TO PURSUE MY RIGHT TO LIFE, LIBERITY & THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS! I can only do this thru running my business the correct way! They want to put me out of business with meaningless, careless, unthinking laws that are arbitrary. I am now looking at other ways to conduct Nationwide business! I hope you are stockholders in Ebay, they are running off sellers in droves, & hide behind Robots instead of talking to me on a phone! Sincerely, Jim @ KANTOKEN

You shouldn't believe everything you read - there is a ton of misinformation as well as conspiracy theories posted here and about eBay elsewhere.

Hope this helps.
Go here. There's a tab to request to increase your limits.

?
I'm confused. Did they reduce your selling limits after 20 years or just cap them?
You know you can request a limit increase, yes? I believe there is a link right next to where it tells you your limits on the Seller Hub page.
And can we please stop using the Constitution to rail against any random corporate policy? The meaning is freedom from government interference, not "you can do whatever makes you happy". Remember, corporations are people too, and they therefore have a right to their own happiness.

Out of curiosity, have you had a recent serious spike in sales? Have you recently been enrolled into Managed Payments?
According to your post, those are the 2 things I can think of that might have prompted the ebay action - though, I don't see where it would be a reasonable 'excuse'.

I have never understood this type of comment (and I see it fairly often). When I want to speak to someone, I go to the bottom of the page, click on "Help and Contact," and navigate to where I get a phone number. I then call and talk to a person with no problems. Give it a try. I think it's even on the bottom of this page, over near the right.

This makes no sense. Are you certain the restriction was for quantity sold? You would not be suspended on such an offense as hitting your listing limit. When getting close to the limit, you would normally get a notice. And the response i have had when meeting my limit, was an automatic raise to accommodate the extra listings and dollars sold.
You would also not get suspended on a first offense. What exactly did the eBay email say that explained your being restricted. Can you publish it here for us? That would help a lot.

Hi again. I took a look at your listings and feedback. The majority of items you sell fall roughly under $100. And then suddenly you are selling thousands in gold coins in a short amount of time. It looks like a single buyer bought multiples from you. That will set off eBay’s fraud meters. Likely you can get this restriction lifted immediately by showing you are you and that your account hasn't been highjacked, or whatever it is eBay suspects.
To reach customer service, try eBay’s Facebook page. Good luck to you.

No, we have not enrolled in Managed Payments.
Yes, a big spike in sales. Ebay's reasoning for limiting our account is something like ...
"We are doing this to be sure that you are not overwhelmed ... so that your customers have the highest of customer service". That's a crock! We can determine when we are overwhelmed. We have more than 30,000 transactions with PERFECT FB rating.

I am not suspended, told by the robot I had to wait at least a month to have my selling restrictions raised so I could sell more items, JIM
