Can anybody explain whats going on here? Today is supposed to be the seller evaluation but my seller performance rating is still saying below standard. It looks like they skipped the July 20 evaluation. It’s making no sense:

I've been on many threads and never saw this done before. I also don't think it's a normal thing to do, but just my opinion."
It happens all the time. It's very normal. Why are you taking it so personally?
As I previously stated, I had never noticed the words "General Reply" on a post before. "Tagging I had seen, but not "General Reply."
I thought it odd, as I was making a point, and then someone with a very different opinion was appearing to try to refocus my post and change the direction.

Hello everyone,
This thread is getting a bit heated and off-topic. Please remember that it’s fine to disagree with others, but discussion should always remain courteous, respectful and on topic.
Thank you for your cooperation.

And that's probably how it happens every single month. It's just that either no one notices, or they are already aware that it could update any time of day, or they don't start a thread about it.
To the OP: @red_daredevil
Please come back and let us know whether your evaluation updated on July 20 or if some kind of problem caused yours to still not update.
We hope the OP comes back to update, but sadly I'm seeing many OP's who don't return, after reporting problems here and getting frustrated with all of the ongoing issues on the site.
While that certainly can be one reason, it is far too often something different. Often they realize that they over reacted to something or didn't want to answer the questions ask of them. But yes it can be out of frustration too. With the site or the posters reactions to what they perceived as an issue.
In this particular case, it was NOT a glitch of any kind whatsoever and just the way the Eval is done in stages. It's a big site with well over 25 million sellers worldwide. Ebay did what they said they would do, which is eval sellers on the 20th. They did that and the results were posted before the end of the day. Normal stuff.
I don't think the OP overreacted at all. They shared a valid concern, about something I also felt did not provide the true and accurate information (see my prev. post).
No-one should be made to feel that their concern isn't meaningful or correct. In my opinion this concern is 100% valid.
Just a curiosity question. Was is the purpose of the white check mark in the green circle? It looks similar to the checkmarks given when a post is selected by the OP as the solution to the thread. I'm just asking, nothing more.
It was in the eBay Community Boards emojis and I liked it.
Waiting for your next reply post to ask me what the purpose of the penguin is?
And the smiley face ..... (OK I could do this all day, but we needed some humor).

Gotta agree with greg on this one...it would have appeared to me like July was skipped.

Thanks for going back to look at what I posted and verifying that it's a valid concern. That's all I've been trying to point out throughout this thread.

The Op asked a question. It was answered. Decided to vent and say it should be updated at 12 am etc..Still not happy, some tried to clarify. Then it went off topic about general reply. The op was over on the tech board too. They seagulled.Again, you need to look at the details of what I posted. The concern was caused by the fact that the next evaluation date, before the July evaluation was posted, was showing as Aug.

This is the first time I’ve posted on this thread. Therefore saying Again towards me is incorrect. I’ve read the post and I don’t need to read it again. Thanks
My apologies, most of those posting had replied numerous times, so I didn't realize that was your first post.
My revised post (with new supporting information):
You just need to remember the details of what I posted. The concern was caused by the fact that the next evaluation date, before the July evaluation was posted, was showing as Aug.
This was confusing to the OP, confusing to me, and I'm sure could be confusing to others. (which was also confirmed to be confusing, by another member here on this thread).

It's the perils of the Pull Quote feature, as the member I replied to had mixed his and my posts together.
I separated out moondogblues reply in italics, which read:

The rest of the words are mine.

I don't think the problem was with the "pullquote" or "pull quote" feature but rather just the quote-button feature. I can understand the confusion: I don't see the pullquote used very often on the Community Platform, since it used to be displayed in an overly large font. Here's an example of it, activated by the little icon that has a line above, the letter "P," and a line below.

Please come back and let us know whether your evaluation updated on July 20 or if some kind of problem caused yours to still not update.
The update occurred late in the evening, around 11 pm, which is still ridiculous. It took ebay virtually all day to conduct and update that should’ve happened no later than 12:01 on the day of. Incompetence on the part of eBay.
