Seller is trying to commit fraud on EBay.

Seller sent something to me that had no value. The seller was suppose to send me fragile stickers instead he sent me blank stickers. He charged me $3.98 for shipping and $1.99 for the item. The case is pending right now. I requested a full refund including shipping.  Tell me what you think by looking at the pictures below. Thank you!

I was suppose to be sent 40 fragile stickers like in picture one as described. Instead I got what was in picture two. The seller was based in United States

Must be some sort of mistake. Try and see if they peel and maybe the 'fragile' is on the inside and the are slightly adhered together to avoid scratching the print. Maybe the white is the backside and they're stuck facing in?

If not, a not as described case will definitely close in your case.

I don't think it's a scam...nobody would go out of their way to scam $3.98 and ruin their account. Pointless to say the least.

Also you should of messaged the seller first. And mentioning his username on these boards is also against rules. Definitely a board warning about to hit your messages any second now.

Really, fraud...not everything is fraud...most likely an honest mistake.

One small thing to consider.  Coming here and screaming fraud over $2 item isn't nice or smart.  Many of the people on these boards are sellers.  If you are screaming fraud about that seller-will you scream fraud about all  the rest too?

Thanks for the reminder.

Re: Seller is trying to commit fraud on EBay.

I presume with all the tact & diplomacy that you show in this post  you did not contact the seller to see if this may have been an error & give them the oportunity to correct same...as any  half reasonable buyer would do.

Hopefully the seller will rectify the issue & provide you with the correct items so the life saving operation is able to proceed.

Re: Seller is trying to commit fraud on EBay.

Geeze Louise! I can't believe the seller just won't send you the right ones. I assumed you contacted the seller...it could of just been a mistake. How's the seller's feedback? That usually indicates the quality of service unless the seller is new. I think it's safe to say that this is a "not-as-described" case. I'd wish you good luck with your case but you don't need it. You'll get your money back. As a seasoned seller I get my share of unscrupulous buyers trying to cheat the system but this case is ridiculous on the seller's part.

Re: Seller is trying to commit fraud on EBay.

If you "spoke" to the seller the way you are claiming fraud, if I were the seller I'd make you return the stickers at your own expense (Paypal claim) and refund rather than send you the right ones.

Under options on the top right of your post you can notify the moderator and ask them to remove the post.

Realistically how much money do you think a seller can make committing fraud on Ebay for $2?
