How do you protect yourself as an honest seller on Ebay? Dishonest buyers get away with everything, costly to the seller, who is honest. I've had enough, 64 years old, I don't need this anymore. Best wishes to all you honest Ebay Sellers.

You cannot. If ANYONE wants your item for free, be it 10K$ or 10$ ...this is the place to make that happen. Your only REAL protection is for "Item not Received" if you follow the rules for same. I started selling here in 1998. It was a good run, but it is soooo over.
Good luck to you. The internet is a big place now, not just ebay.

eBay has changed. eBay does provide limited financial protection now for Top Rated Sellers who offer 30-day or longer returns, and they provide limited financial protection for any seller that offers free seller paid return shipping.
It isn't perfect, but it is better than before.
