Seller Problems

I am frustrated ith the new eBay setup for selling! It takes me longer to navigate the new system, the word "SOLD" has been removed so I can't easily check what & when was sold, The active items layout stretches acoss the computer screen & is tedious to read. It's time consuming & difficult to set my own shipping price & when I mange to set my own shipping price the system doesn't show it until I actually look at the listing. For me, the new system & layout is Totally stressful & not user friendly.

Seller Problems

The seller pages that changed a few years ago may seem daunting compared to the old pages.  I hated it at first as well, but with some adjustments mostly is WAY better once you get used to it.

Start with the Seller Dashboard:

https://www.ebay.com/sh/ovw

Quickly and easily see what items have sold that need to be shipped in the TASKS section.

Active items? Well, the grid can be customized to eliminate any columns you don't use and would make it easier to see. Click Customize Table.

Making shipping easier and more consistent by using Business Policies.

You create one Shipping policy and can easily apply to multiple items.   Need to adjust shipping? Just update the policy and then you won't have to touch every listing.

I am in agreement with @rosszonebricks ...

It is so much faster to see your little empire at a glance than all the tedious scrolling, and clunky multi-colored tables. Once you get used to it, I think you will agree

(plus the old tables/layout do not translate to mobile very well)

it is human nature to be resistant to changes.....

like driving a stick shift...once you learn it, you love it (you have more control)

@leonacar. I have not noticed anything recently that is more cumbersome.  Easy peasy here.

The more you work with it the easier it becomes.

The seller hub has a view that shows all sold items that includes the date sold.

The active items layout stretches acoss the computer screen

You can customize which columns appear on the screen.

It's time consuming & difficult to set my own shipping price

I too set my own shipping and do not use calculated shipping. But about five years ago I saw the light and started using business policies and it changed my life. I set up a handful of Shipping Policies (Media Mail 1 lb, Media Main 2 lb, Ground Advantage 4oz, Ground Advantange 8oz, Ground Advantage 1 lb, etc) and just assign one to each listing.

when I mange to set my own shipping price the system doesn't show it until I actually look at the listing

I am able to choose the shipping cost as a column in the seller hub.

For me, the new system & layout is Totally stressful & not user friendly.

I find the seller hub to be a godsend. There is a single link to get to any view I need: Awaiting Payment, Awaiting Shipment, Awaiting Feedback, Sold and Shipped, Payment Summary, etc.
