Ok, so I go to my dashboard today to check if my "late shipment rate" has improved even though I ship everything on time but a few items were delivered "late" according to eBay. I'm at 3.13% late, barely above top rated limits. And I see a notification with an exclamation point at the top of the dashboard. All it says when I click on it is ! Your seller performance status is at risk in the US. WTH? No explanation at all. My rating is above standard and have zero defects, no buyer issues, etc.
Not that I'm selling much but I would like to know what this means...

How many US transactions have you had in the last year? This is often the cause of loss of TRS for low volume sellers.
In any event, look at your dashboard, there should be a yellow flag beside any of the metrics where you are close to the edge. You want to look at the section for the Feb 20 evaluation.

@slippinjimmy Thank you for the advice, I did check and there are NO flags anywhere in my dashboard. My current late shipment rate as of 01/20 is 2.99% and everything else is perfect. Color me confused???

As slippin mentioned, did you check to see the total number of transactions you have had over the past year? You will need at least 100 to retain TRS.
Also, if you get an acceptance scan within your handling time, then an item being delivered later than the estimated time frame will not count against you. If this is not possible to do, you can extend your handling time without affecting your TRS status. That might just save it actually.

@fern*wood I have 192 transactions over 12 months and my late shipment rate has dropped in recent months from about 3.44% to 3.13% but I never had that notification when my late shipment rate was higher than it is now? Still scratching my head but I appreciate your help with this mess!

Please check your late shipments and that they were not from the President Bush Memorial day. This did effect late shipments rates and Im not sure if that issue was resolved with eBay.
If so, you can appeal all of them from that date.

One other thing to check.......your Dashboard is probably set to USA as the default, change it to Global (or UK or Germany). The "at risk" notice may be related to your ratings outside the US, doesn't really matter if that's the case, it's only the USA rating that matters.

Expand the Late Shipment Rate section. Top Rated sellers must have 3% or less. You have greater than a 3% rate. You are probably in the midst of the grace period and if you don't improve your rate then you will lose your TRS status.

I just saw this part. Did you recently change from Top Rated to Above Standard? Or are you currently Top Rated and Above Standard is your projected status with the next evaluation? It could be that your status just changed and the message is lingering. Either that or your status is about to change.

I have a couple observations.
First ...
When you say you are "checking your dashboard", are you looking at "if we evaluated you today" numbers, or are you looking at your actual evaluation? Because the only numbers that matter are the actual evaluation.
Shipping and tracking numbers can be delayed by several days (or even a week or two), which is why your next evaluation period covers transactions from May 1 to May 31 but the numbers for those are not calculated until June 20. eBay provides a window of 20 days for the shipping and tracking to "catch up" before they evaluate you.
Second ...
You say that "I ship everything on time", but that is not enough. You also should upload tracking on time and get a validation scan within your handling time. If you do that, it does not matter if the item is delivered late - because you have proved that you shipped on time:
"We'll only consider a shipment as late if:
Tracking shows the item was delivered after the estimated delivery date, unless there's an acceptance scan within your handling time "

I have exactly the same thing. It's just a silly warning note, nothing more. Just letting you know you won't be top rated if it slips below the 3%. It's just one more punishment instead of praise junk.
Message says
! Late shipment rate 2.38%
You could lose your Top Rated Seller status if you don't meet this requirement.
Beside that line it says get the full report. This will show you when some of those late shipments will drop off the percentage. I have one dropping off this month and one next month.
